Qualifications
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapists work under stringent expectations and standards that guide their practice. They must adhere to evidence-based methodologies, ensuring that all interventions are supported by research and shown to be effective. Their work often requires meticulous data collection and analysis to track a client’s progress accurately, which informs treatment adjustments. Additionally, ABA therapists are bound by ethical codes, like those from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), that emphasize respect, confidentiality, and the client’s best interests. Therapists must also maintain a high level of objectivity, often under challenging conditions, such as working with clients with complex behavioral needs. Compliance with these standards ensures the quality and integrity of ABA therapy, emphasizing measurable outcomes and the welfare of the client.

“Keystone helped our daughter learned how to better communicate her wants and needs. Our daughter had some behaviors that were targeted with love and compassion. No judgment! Her BCBA had amazing ideas that I never would have thought of. We were able to take our daughter more places and on outings as a result of the therapy she received at Keystone. The Autism meltdowns lessened, and we were able to improve how we communicated to our daughter.
We had some amazing RBTs at Keystone who we knew without a doubt truly cared for our daughter and our whole family. We have since moved but our daughter still asks about Keystone and the friends, she made there which is really sweet.”
